子どもたちの成長に寄り添うようなアニメーションを作りたいと思っていました。
子どもたちのしょうもないモメごと、毎日毎日たくさんあります。でも彼らにとってはその１つ１つが大事件で、きっと毎日がアクション映画のようにスリリングなんです。そんな彼らの全力の日常を決して軽視せず、でも干渉しすぎず、いつも心配して寄り添っている誰かがいる。 そんな温かくて面白くて忙しい日常を描けたら、と。
私自身が息子たちにとってそんな存在でありたいと願っているし、どんな子どもにもそんな温かい見守りの目があってほしいなという気持ちを込めました。

I wanted to create an animation that gently stays close to the way children grow.
For these twin boys, a little sibling rivalry is an everyday occurrence. And no matter how minor the infraction may seem to adults, to them, each quibble feels like an act of war. It's easy to imagine that, from their point of view, every single day plays out like a thrilling action movie. They're fighting with all they've got... and even in their dreams, the battle rages on.
But in the background, there's always someone who never looks down on their struggles, never interferes too much, yet always stays close—quietly watching over them.
I wanted to tell a story about that kind of warm, chaotic, and funny everyday life.
This story comes from my own wish to be that presence for my sons—and from my hope that every child has someone like that by their side.

Good Night won the prize in Spain! And this film was selected and screened at over 40 film festivals in more than 20 countries around the world, including well-known festivals such as ZLÍN FILM FESTIVAL in the Czech Republic and Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Switzerland.
It brings me so much joy to know that my animation has reached children—and the adults who care deeply about them—across borders and in so many corners of the world.
